Tip of the Day-Codi Laptop Bags

I bought a Codi neoprene laptop bag at Savers for $2 on a hunch. Listed it for $40 OBO and sold it for $25 within an hour. Apparently, these are worth grabbing when you see them.

Tip of the Day-Troll Dolls?

I had a lot of 4 cute little Trolls (that I really bought for nostalgic reasons), and listed them for $15. I did not expect them to sell, because completed listings showed they just weren't selling. But mine sold within a half hour. Hmm...maybe it was because there was an astronaut in the lot? Or maybe it was the cheerleader? Who knows! You can pick these up super cheap at garage sales though, so if you don't sell them you aren't out a bunch of money. Worth a shot!

Tip of the Day-Cabbage Patch Kids

Today I sold a vintage cabbage patch doll. When looking for Cabbage Patch dolls at garage sales and thrift stores, check the tag and the signature color. Dolls manufactured by Coleco are harder to find, and therefore, worth more. When you list a doll, make sure you include all the information on the tag, and the head mold size (found on the back of the head). Include many detailed pictures. Your doll will be worth more if it has clothes. Your doll will also be worth more if it is a boy. Black Coleco boys are hard to find and will sell for quite a bit.

Tip of the Day-Hard Rock Cafe

Tip of the day: Keep a look out for Hard Rock Cafe uniforms! I bought 6 of them at my local Salvation Army and sold the 6 for $160! The white ones sell for more than the black ones, and the aprons and pins are in demand too.
