Old Navy Backpacks and lunch boxes on clearance!

Old Navy has backpacks on clearance for $3.99 and lunch boxes for $1.99. I just sold a set for $20 with free shipping. They are light enough to where you can ship first class mail. Made an $8 profit after fees and shipping for such an easy sale. Every $8 adds up!

It's been a while-Calico Critters

Hello all! It's been a while since I have posted, because I have been busy with the beginning of the new school year (I'm a teacher), and my eBay store has slowed down. Anyway, I got a great tip today about Calico Critters. You can make quite a bit of profit on these little guys! Thanks to Erin for sharing!

Tip of the Day-Barbies

I sold a lot of 75 Barbie items for $20. It included 7 Barbies and the rest clothes, shoes and accessories. It sold right away, so that makes me think I could have actually listed it for more. Barbie stuff is CHEAP at garage sales, so keep an eye out!

Tip of the Day-Victoria's Secret Bras

I can't believe I have forgotten to share my most sold item-Victoria's Secret bras! I have sold 8 just in the last three days. Victoria's Secret is my highest selling category, and in that category, bras are bought the most. I routinely sell them for $8-$15 or sometimes more. Always, always be on the look out for these! The only thing I have noticed is the unlined bras do not seem to sell as well. Every other kind sells great!

Tip of the Day-Starbucks Demitasse

These cute little Starbucks mugs come in pairs of two and feature different countries. I picked up a new in box set at Savers for $2.10 and sold for $30 plus shipping! Keep an eye out for these little guys!

Gymboree

Gymboree alert: I have come to the realization that Gymboree is not a top seller. From now on I will not pay more than $1 for Gymboree. Also, size 18 months-5T are the best sellers.

If you are selling Gymboree items, make sure you put in the listing title the line it is from. Check the year on the tag and look at the following site to find the line. Make sure you check both the year it says on the tag and the following year.

Also, make sure you list Gymboree Outlet items as such in your listings. You can tell an outlet item because it has 9 little dots next to "Gymboree". If you do not list outlet items as such, you may have some very angry buyers!

Tip of the Day-Justice Backpacks and Lunchboxes

Justice backpacks and lunch boxes appear to be a hot item right now. School will be starting for many early August, so now is the time to get them listed! Justice regularly holds 40% off sales, which make their backpacks $30 and lunch boxes $10.80, so obviously price lower.

Tip of the Day-Broken Electronics

Popular electronics, even broken, will sell on eBay. iPod Touch's will always sell, and so will Nintento DS's. I just sold a lot of 2 broken, in PIECES, Nintendo DS's for $35. People buy this stuff. Weird right?

Tip of the Day-Polly Pockets

I sold a lot of 80+ Polly Pockets, clothes, and accessories for $25. That sure was easy money! These are very commonly thrown into donation, so make sure you pick them up! Those tiny pieces count!

Tip of the Day-Codi Laptop Bags

I bought a Codi neoprene laptop bag at Savers for $2 on a hunch. Listed it for $40 OBO and sold it for $25 within an hour. Apparently, these are worth grabbing when you see them.

Tip of the Day-Troll Dolls?

I had a lot of 4 cute little Trolls (that I really bought for nostalgic reasons), and listed them for $15. I did not expect them to sell, because completed listings showed they just weren't selling. But mine sold within a half hour. Hmm...maybe it was because there was an astronaut in the lot? Or maybe it was the cheerleader? Who knows! You can pick these up super cheap at garage sales though, so if you don't sell them you aren't out a bunch of money. Worth a shot!

Tip of the Day-Cabbage Patch Kids

Today I sold a vintage cabbage patch doll. When looking for Cabbage Patch dolls at garage sales and thrift stores, check the tag and the signature color. Dolls manufactured by Coleco are harder to find, and therefore, worth more. When you list a doll, make sure you include all the information on the tag, and the head mold size (found on the back of the head). Include many detailed pictures. Your doll will be worth more if it has clothes. Your doll will also be worth more if it is a boy. Black Coleco boys are hard to find and will sell for quite a bit.

Tip of the Day-Hard Rock Cafe

Tip of the day: Keep a look out for Hard Rock Cafe uniforms! I bought 6 of them at my local Salvation Army and sold the 6 for $160! The white ones sell for more than the black ones, and the aprons and pins are in demand too.
